The camera moves through the halls of “Teaching Factory” Institut Teknologi Bogor. A sense of anticipation hangs in the air. Dignitaries, ambassadors, and leaders from agriculture and trade gather.
April 15, 2025.
“On this day, a new kind of classroom is born. Not one confined by chalkboards, but one built on the very pulse of industry. The Teaching Factory—a collaboration between Gravfarm Indonesia and Institut Pertanian Bogor—is officially inaugurated.
But this is no ordinary ribbon-cutting. This is the architecture of legitimate performance.
Here, students will not merely study coffee. They will live it. Guided not only by academic theory, but by the hands of experienced industry professionals, they will learn to navigate every nuance of the coffee sector—from bean to market. The facility stands as a bridge, connecting the rigor of the classroom with the demands of the real world.
Presiding over the ceremony is the Rector of IPB, Arif—now at the helm of the National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia—alongside representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Trade, and ambassadors from several nations. Their presence signals a shared conviction: that the future of Indonesia’s agroindustry depends on a generation trained in authenticity, discipline, and measurable competence.
This Teaching Factory is not a simulation. It is a commitment. A space where students are shaped by the same standards that drive a world-class coffee processor. Where performance is not theoretical, but demonstrated, tested, and proven.
In this synergy between Gravfarm and IPB, legitimate performance finds its truest expression: preparing the next generation not just to enter the industry, but to lead it—with skill, integrity, and the unshakable foundation of real-world experience.”
